Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo has been awarded One Michelin Star

Tokyo – December 5, 2023 – Today, just 8 months after its opening, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo was awarded a Michelin Star during the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2024 ceremony held at The National Art Center Tokyo.

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito also brings a unique and contemporary concept of Italian cuisine here in Japan, developed by the chef for this project with Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. The collaboration between Niko Romito and the famous Italian jewelry brand began in 2017 and today Il Ristorante – Niko Romito is present in Beijing (one Michelin Star), Dubai (two Michelin Stars), Shanghai (one Michelin Star), Milan, Paris and Rome. The desire is to bring to the world the most representative recipes from the entire country, rewritten according to the canons of simplicity, essence, purity and lightness that have always distinguished Niko Romito’s cuisine.

The Resident Chef of Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo is Mauro Aloisio, former Chef of Il Ristorante – Niko Romito at the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai, which, in Michelin Guide Shanghai 2024, confirmed one Michelin star for the sixth consecutive year.
